There is a great place for you to serve here at McLaurin! We are in need of a few more USHERS! This position is rotational, so you would only be on about once every 4-5 weeks. A great opportunity to meet everyone in the service and make people feel welcome.

The Clothes Drive will continue throughout the fall and winter. Clothes for all ages that are appropriate for the season are gratefully accepted in the box in the church foyer.
Hygiene samples/trial sizes can be dropped in the box as well and will be used later in the fall in backpacks.
Our Monthly Meal commitment begins again on September. Please speak with Joanne Peters to see how you can help! We need chili, fruit, veggies, dip, buns, butter, brown minute rice, plates, bowls, etc. Servers and visitors are also needed.
This is a monthly commitment and a practical way to get involved in the lives of those less fortunate.

On Saturday, July 17, Habitat for Humanity South Peace Society officially opened the 2010 Build site. This year’s 2-unit semi-detached residence has been built to lockup by local builders, Zinterer Construction. They’ve done their part; now it’s our turn.
Volunteers must be 16 or older; all minors must have signed permission from parents to participate.

This summer as you travel, please save your small hygiene items from hotel rooms. We are collecting them for backpacks that will be made up in the fall for the Friendship Centre.
